Frances A. (Dembek) Pardee, 95, of 9 Laurel Street, Templeton, died peacefully, Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in the home of her daughter.
Frances was born in Gardner on February 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank W. and Sophie (Morze) Dembek.
She was employed for many years as a clerk for Almy's Department Store of Gardner. She was previously employed by W.T. Grants Department Store of Gardner and GEM Crib and Cradle Company of Gardner.
Frances was a member of Holy Spirit Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering, reading and word puzzles. She treasured spending time with her family.
Frances was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Eben J. Pardee, who died June 21, 2013.
She leaves two daughters, Carol A. Alves and her husband Roland "Buster" Alves of Gardner and Janet E. Leadbetter of Templeton; two brothers, Victor Dembek and his wife Ruby of East Templeton and Leo Dembek of Gardner; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers, Chester, Anthony, Stanley, Richard and Joseph Dembek; two sisters, Alice Ducharme and Jennie Collier; son-in-law, Penrose Leadbetter, Jr.; and by her grandson, Mark Marland, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
