Florine Marie (Belliveau) LaFortune, 102, of Gardner, died on March 22, 2016.
Florine was born in Gardner, on May 2, 1913, daughter of the late Auguste D. Belliveau, and Marie Louise (Doiron) Belliveau.
Florine was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Raymond A. LaFortune, who died in 1982.
She leaves two children, Robert R. LaFortune and his wife, Britta and Michael A. LaFortune and his wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Beth LaFortune Gies and her husband Mark, Kai N. LaFortune and his wife Jane, Andrea M. Zola and her husband Mark and Brian M. LaFortune and his partner Julie; eight great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Helen, Matilda, Augustus, Linnea, Catherine, Stephanie and Andrew.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert Belliveau and Leo Belliveau and two sisters, Juliette Columbus and Pauline Croff.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Emery, Albert, Arthur and Roger Belliveau and five sisters, Louise Baker, Sylvia Penski, Clara Manseau, Helen Cormier and Evangeline Belliveau.
Florine was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She graduated from Holy Rosary Academy in 1930. She belonged to the Catholic Women's Club, Les Dames de St. Anne, and the Cercle Sociale Franco Americain. For many years, she assisted her husband Raymond in the operation of Smart's Pharmacy.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28th, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Gardner.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 28th from 9:00a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
