Florence "Flo" Gallant

Florence "Flo" Gallant, 58, of 172 Manca Drive, Gardner, died suddenly Saturday, April 5, 2014 in her residence, after being stricken ill.
She was born in Shemogue, N.B. Canada on December 11, 1955, the daughter of the Euclide and Therese (Bastarache) Gallant.
Florence graduated in 1973 from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg. She later attended Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant employed by Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner for 25 years, retiring due to illness.
Florence was a member of Holy Spirit Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, quilting, gardening and ceramics. Florence most enjoyed spending time with her son and daughter.
Besides her mother, Therese (Bastarache) Gallant of Dieppe, N.B. Canada, she leaves one son, Eric E. Martin and his fiancé, Elizabeth Leonard of Gardner; one daughter, Caitlyn Gallant of Gardner; three brothers, Paul Gallant and his wife Charlotte, Gerry Gallant and Leo Gallant all of Winchendon; two sisters, Jeannie Saulnier and her husband Guy of Cap Pele, N.B. Canada and Ann Gallant of Diepppe, N.B. Canada; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Monday, April 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
