Florence V. (Jacques) Beaudry, 98, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, formerly of 34 Crawford Street, Gardner where she lived for 30 years, died peacefully Tuesday, September 4th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home.
Born in Gardner, on November 24, 1908, she was the daughter of William and Alma (Fleurant) Jacques.
Mrs. Beaudry was a furniture worker, employed by Heywood Wakefield Co. of Gardner for several years, retiring in 1958.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, and its Ladies of St. Anne Society.
Mrs. Beaudry enjoyed attending family gatherings, where she would share the history of her family. Her favorite pastimes include knitting, crocheting, tatting and music. She volunteered for many years at the Holy Rosary Church Bazaar, working during the bazaar, making fudge, and each year donating a handmade afghan to be raffled.
She was predeceased by her husband of thirty years, Henry F. Beaudry, who died November 11, 1974.
She leaves three sister-in-laws, Mercedes Jacques of Gardner, Edith Jacques of Naples, FL and Gertrude Beaudry of Warren; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Roger, Wilfred, and Arthur Jacques.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Saturday, September 8th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
