Felix, J. Comeau, 77, of Gardner, died peacefully, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center of Worcester, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.
Felix was born in Kent Junction, N.B. Canada on November 18, 1937, the son of the late Emile and Bertha (Leger) Boudreau.
He was employed by Modern Dispersions, Inc. of Leominster as a molder for many years.
Felix was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club and the Acadien Social Club of Gardner.
Felix enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, cards and cooking. He loved playing the guitar and harmonica for his friends and family. Felix also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Acadien Social Club, where he was a custodian for many years, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren.
Felix leaves his wife of 54 years, Florine (Boudreau) Comeau of Gardner; three sons, Michael J. Comeau and his wife Jenna of Reno, NV, Ronald J. Comeau and his wife Debra of Templeton and Richard F. Comeau and his wife Susan of Gardner; one daughter, Susan M. Comeau of Gardner; four brothers, Lionel Comeau and his wife Geralda, Yvon Comeau and his wife Madeline, Norbert Comeau and his wife Marie and Clement Comeau and his wife Gaietaine; two sisters, Lorraine Chevarie and her husband Arthur and Doris (Comeau) Peters; twelve grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Derek, Daniel, Kody, Dylan, Spencer, Cody, Lily, Paige, Angela and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Leah, Hunter and Leah; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, Plilias Comeau; and by four sisters, Leona (Comeau) Goguen, Priscilla (Comeau) Richard, Silvia (Comeau) LeBlanc and Claudia (Comeau) O'Donnell.
There are no funeral services scheduled.
