Estelle B. Racette

Estelle B. (Perreault) Racette, 77, of 225 Woodland Ave., Gardner died Tuesday, May 4th in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Worcester, following a short illness.
Born in Winchendon on February 16, 1927, she was the daughter of Herman and Mary (Dufault) Perreault.
She was office manager employed by the Boy Scouts of America, Monadnock Council for 19 years until retiring in 1992.
She was a 1945 graduate of Murdock High School, Winchendon.
Mrs. Racette was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where she taught CCD for several years. She was a den mother for Pack #4 of Monadnock Council. She enjoyed watching television.
She leaves her husband of 53 years, George H. Racette of Gardner; 2 sons, Richard A. Racette and his wife Sally of West Dennis and James G. Racette of Gardner; 1 daughter, Marie L. Morrissey and her husband James of Templeton; 5 grandchildren, Michael and Katie Racette, Matthew, Andrew and Amanda Morrissey; 1 great-granddaughter, Amber Racette; 1 aunt, Gertrude Gauthier of Winchendon; 1 niece, 1 nephew and several cousins. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Robert and Roger Perreault.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, May 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
