Ernest A."Ernie" Royer

Ernest A. Royer, 82, of 125 Connors St., formerly of 244 Parker St., Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, February 14th in Hillcrest Nursing Home, Fitchburg,
following a long illness.
Born in Lynn, MA on August 19, 1930, he was the son of
Joseph O. and Laura M. (Gallien) Royer.
He was a material handler employed by Carrington Mfg. Co. of Leominster for five years until retiring in 1983. He was formerly employed at Foster-Grant Co. of Leominster.
Mr. Royer was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Anna M. (Knowles)Royer of Gardner; 3 brothers, Wilfred Royer of Toms River, NJ, Raymond Royer of Fitchburg, Donald Royer of East Liverpool, OH; a sister, Louise LeBlanc of Westminster; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Louis, Walter and Albert, and 2 sisters, Rena Robichaud and Rita Richards.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, February 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
