Erin N. Barus

Erin N. Barus, 43, of Winchendon, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner.
Erin was born in Leominster on September 12, 1974, the daughter of Ann M. (LaRoche) Barus and the late Michael Barus.
She attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School of Westford and Gardner High School of Gardner. Erin was employed as Department Manager for McDonalds of Brattleboro, Vermont.
She was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Erin enjoyed going to Six Flags, loved riding roller coasters, and was a huge fan of the Beatles. She treasured spending time with her family.
She leaves her mother, Ann M. Barus of Gardner; two sons, Desmond Wheeler of Gardner and Jacob Wheeler of Winchendon; one daughter, Katelynn Knowlton and her husband Adam of Gardner; sister, Sara B. Barus and her significant other, Robert Howlett of Gardner; maternal grandmother, Jeannette LaRoche of Gardner; paternal grandmother, Lois Collette of Gardner; aunts and uncles, Nancy Allard, Sue and Warren Janhunen, David LaRoche, Jeff and Wendy Barus; nieces, Gianna and Desiree Howelett; and several cousins. She also leaves her boyfriend, Dave Murray of Winchendon. Erin was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Rene LaRoche and paternal grandfather, Norman Collette.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 10th at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
