Eric P. "Short-Stack" LeBlanc, 39, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Friday, May 11, 2018 in UMASS Memorial-HealthAlliance Hospital Leominster Campus, surrounded by his family, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on April 18, 1979, he was the son of Paul O. LeBlanc and Dianne (Gallant) LeBlanc.
Eric graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School of Fitchburg with the Class of 1999. He was a member of Holy Cross Church of Templeton.
Eric was employed by the Town of Westminster Water and Sewer Department for 10 years, retiring in 2016 due to illness. He was also co-owner/operator of L.C. Dirtworks of Phillipston with his best friend Jonathan Croteau for the past 6 years.
Eric's passion was cars. He took great pride in his 1952 Ford 'Vickie', and he loved working on racecars with his friends at T.J. & Sons Auto Repair and Towing of Gardner. Eric also loved construction work and working with large, heavy equipment. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and daughter. Eric truly loved every moment of being a stay-at-home Dad with Kenna.
Eric leaves his wife of almost four years, Tracey L. (Diemdowicz) LeBlanc of Baldwinville; daughter, Kenna J. LeBlanc of Baldwinville; mother, Dianne (Gallant) LeBlanc of Gardner; father, Paul LeBlanc and his wife Linda of Gardner; brother, John LeClair of Royalston; two sisters, Heather Owens and her boyfriend John Dupont of Ashburnham, and Debra McCrohon and her husband Tim of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Jennifer LeClair.
A 'Celebration of Eric's Life' will be held Saturday, June 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Polish American Citizens Club, 171 Kendall Pond West Road, Gardner. To honor Eric's passion, family and friends are invited to bring their classic cars, hotrods and prized vehicles for a Car Show in his memory.
