Elvia M. Cormier

Elvia M. (Dupuis) Cormier, 85, of 208 Regan St., Gardner, died Friday, October 28th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following a short illness.

Born in Worcester on November 13, 1919, she was the daughter of Ferdinand and Clarisse (Collette) Dupuis.

She was an assembler of baby carriages employed by the former Kuniholm Manufacturing Co. of Gardner for several years, retiring in 1984.

Mrs. Cormier was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society.

Her husband of 55 years, Fernand Cormier, died in 1999.

She leaves a sister-in-law, Rose A. Dupuis of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Gerard, Edward, Godfrey and Alfred Dupuis.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 31st, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, October 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
