Ellen (Pilesky) (Ambrose) Pierce, 94, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner died peacefully Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Lynn on August 18, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Antany and Benedickta (Labuk) Pilesky.
Prior to retiring in 1981, Ellen was a housekeeping supervisor employed by Sheraton Hotels in Framingham for several years. She was previously a private housekeeper.
Ellen enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was predeceased by first husband, John Ambrose who died in 1977 and by her second husband, Alan Pierce who died in 1997.
She leaves one brother, Joseph C. Pilesky of Gardner; five nieces, two nephews, five great-nieces, six great-nephews, two great-great-nieces and four great-great-nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Pilesky and by one great niece.
Graveside Services in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
