Elaine Mae (Beauregard) Gauthier, 84, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, March 29, 2021, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on August 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Cleo and Eva (Chabot) Beauregard. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1955. Elaine was employed by the Country Mischief of Templeton for several years.
Elaine was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. Elaine loved to go shopping for antiques, reading, and watching television. Elaine was gifted at tole painting, ceramics, and making baskets. She loved going to the beach, especially on Cape Cod. Elaine was an avid fan of her New England Patriots. Elaine was a homemaker who loved and treasured time spent with her family.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 55-years, Wilfred A. Gauthier of Gardner; two sons, Jay Timothy Gauthier and his wife Sarah of Fayston, VT, and Curt Matthew Gauthier of Gardner; two brothers-in-law, Gordon Gauthier and his wife Karen, Robert Gauthier and his Shirley; a sister-in-law, Barbara LeBlanc; nieces and nephews, David and Mark Suchocki, Cindy, Tina Rose, and Jimmy Gauthier, Mike, Craig, Lisa, and Jodi LeBlanc, Trevor Gauthier and Heather Magic; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her son, Dean Russell Gauthier; and a sister, Nanette Suchocki.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.
