Eida Lucille (Valoir) Jaillet, 90, formerly of 18 Princeton Street, Gardner, was called by God this past Monday morning, October 16, 2017, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Gardner, MA. She was born in Athol, MA on March 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Frederick Albert and Harriet Maude (Kendall) Valoir and had lived in Gardner for the past seventy years. Eida was employed by various manufacturing factories in the area as a production worker before retiring from Simplex Time Recorder Company in 1986.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leander Joseph "Blackie" Jaillet in 1997; sister, Shirley A. Specht, the wife of the late Raymond J. Specht in 1986; son, Raymond B. Matthews in 1948; and grandson, Shon M. Mallett in 1991.
Eida leaves a son, Wade F. Harmon and his wife Sharon A. (McGrail) of Royalston; daughter, Michelle D. Sellars and her husband William A. Sellars of Leominster; sister, Sheila A. Costa of Vermont; two step-sons, Joseph H. Jaillet and his wife Sandi (Pervier) of Ashburnham, Thomas M. Jaillet and his wife Paulette M. (Meunier) of Templeton; five grandchildren, Nathan R. Harmon of Templeton, Brandy L. Lefsyk of Athol, Matthew J. Sellars of Winchendon, Sandra L. Lampa of Leominster, and Erin M. Cintron of Fitchburg; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob R. Harmon and Zachery M. Harmon of Templeton, Sawyer S. Lefsyk, Bailey S. Lefsyk and Flynn S. Lefsyk of Athol, Dylan Labuff of Leominster, Jason Reid of Leominster, and Meguel Cintron Jr. of Fitchburg.
Eida loved her family. She was a crossword enthusiast, an avid golfer, and was active on a local bowling league. She loved camping, traveling and playing bingo.
At the request of the family, Funeral Services are private. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner, MA.
