Edward E Roy

Edward E. Roy, 87, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, April 13, 2017 in his residence.
Born in Gardner on January 4, 1930, he was the son of the late Emile J. and Lucy L. (Mountain) Roy.
Edward graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1948. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951 and served through 1955. Edward was a Korean War Veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Edward was an Engineer employed by Lilly Chemical Company of Templeton for over 40 years.
He enjoyed reading, watching movies on television, and was an avid football fan.
Edward leaves several cousins and friends.
Funeral Services and burial will be held Friday, June 2nd at 3:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
There are no calling hours.
Family and friends are asked to report directly to the cemetery the day of the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner is handling the arrangements.
