Dwayne J. Harris, 51, of Templeton, died unexpectedly, Friday, November 6, 2020, in his residence.
Born in Gardner on April 17, 1969, he was the son of Margaret J. (Sawyer) Harris and the late Danny L. Harris.
Dwayne was employed by various companies over the years including Garlock of Gardner and Caraustar of Fitchburg and, also, worked as a glass installer. Dwayne was an over-the-road truck driver employed by Swift Transportation, which afforded him the opportunity to travel the United States from coast-to-coast.
He loved the outdoors and always found the tranquility that nature offered—whether fishing, hunting, or in Maine. But the time that Dwayne loved and truly cherished the most was spent with his friends and family.
Besides his mother, Dwayne is survived by his significant other, Kimberley A. Grosso of Gardner; a sister Brenda D. Bishop and her husband Glen of Phillipston; seven nieces, Crystal Buell and her husband Greg of Auburn, Danielle Hardy and her husband Steven of Orange, Teresa Canney and her husband Dave of Jefferson, Brittany Hackett of Worcester, Stacie Bishop and her fiancé Matt Crossman of Connecticut, and Melissa and Chelsea Harris of Gardner; several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Shawn D. Harris.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
