- Doris M. (Bourque) Richard, 76, of 33 Old Winchendon Rd., Templeton, died Sunday, July 10th in her residence following a long illness.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada on January 8, 1929, she was the daughter of Irene and Edmee (Richard) Bourque.
She was part owner and operator of Richard Limousine Service with her husband until retiring in 2003. She was a sander previously employed by Ethan Allen Company of Ashburnham for 8 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, feeding her chickens and cleaning the limousines.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Joseph Richard of Templeton; 3 sons, Roger Richard and Joseph Richard Jr. both of Templeton, Thomas Richard of Winchendon; 2 brothers, Francis Bourque and wife Bertha, Roger Bourque and wife Neleda all of Waltham; 2 sisters, Rose Miller of Los Angeles, CA and Freda Cronin of St. Louis, MO; 2 grandchildren, Crystal and David Richard; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, July 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
