Doris J. (Cormier) Prinn, 83, of 125 Connors Street, formerly of 30 Metcalf Street, died Tuesday, August 21st in Heywood Hospital.
Born in Gardner on March 30, 1924, she was the daughter of Edgar and Laudia (Richard) Cormier.
Mrs. Prinn was a 1941 graduate of Gardner High School. She was a homemaker, devoted to raising her six children.
Doris was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner, and the Gardner chapter of A.A.R.P.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred T. Prinn, who died in 1993.
She leaves one son, Jeffrey R. Prinn and his significant other, Kathy Lawrence of Winchendon; five daughters, Linda J. Dembek of Gardner, Sheila L. Heglin and her husband Richard of Gardner, Cynthia A. Barnes and her husband David of Ashburnham, Pamela M. LeBlanc of Gardner, and Janice M. Richard and her husband David of Gardner; one brother, Richard Cormier and his wife Claire of Orwell, VT; three sisters, Therese Violette and her husband Raymond of Templeton, Anne-Marie Roberts of Gardner, and Madeleine Melanson and her husband Arthur of Gardner; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Roland Cormier of Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, August 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
