Doris I"Dottie" Miller

Doris I. "Dottie" (Harrison) Miller, 76, of Templeton, died peacefully Monday, February 8, 2016 in her son's residence in Westminster, following a brief illness.
Born in Winchendon on November 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Ellis) Harrison.
Doris graduated from Narragansett Regional High School of Baldwinville with the Class of 1958.
She was a homemaker for many years, and was previously employed by Heywood Hospital as a Nurse's Aide.
Doris was a member of the First Church of Templeton.
She enjoyed dancing, writing, shopping and listening to Rock and Roll music. Doris treasured spending time with her family.
Doris was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Maurice B. Miller, who died in 2014.
She leaves two sons, Craig T. Miller and his wife Jacqueline of Leominster and Keith T. Miller and his wife Mary of Westminster; three sisters-in-law, Judith Misner and her husband Alan of Baldwinville, Eunice Dymek and her husband Chester of Gardner and Claire Pray of North Brookfield; four grandchildren, Shawn, Jake, Dana and Ethan; former daughter-in-law, Laurie Valcourt-Miller. She was predeceased by her cousin and best friend, Judith Maynard-Wyles.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, February 19th at 1:30 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Patriots Road, Templeton.
There are no calling hours.
