Dorice M. Hache

January 23, 1924 — June 17, 2010

Dorice M. (Leblanc) Hache, 86, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville and formerly of 162 Oak Street, Gardner, died Thursday, June 17th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, following a brief illness surrounded by her family.

Born in Moncton, N.B. Canada on January 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helene (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

Dorice was employed by E. B. Kingman Company of Leominster as a molder for several years, until retiring in 1986. She was previously a Teacher of grades 1 through 8 in the public school system in Grand Digue, N.B. Canada.

Dorice was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. She spent her life as a devout Catholic and enjoyed reciting the Rosary.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, watching television and listening to music. She enjoyed eating lobster and poutines.

Dorice was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Herve Hache, who died in 1975.

She leaves two daughters, Alice M. Bouchard and her husband Norman of Gardner and Stella M. O'Neil of Salem, MA; two brothers, Gerard Leblanc and Eric LeBlanc and his wife Cora all of Cocagne, N.B. Canada; one sister-in-law, Bernice LeBlanc of Shediac, N.B. Canada; five grandchildren, Brian, Roger and Gary Bouchard, and Charles and Matthew O'Neil; five great-grandchildren, Danielle, Brianna, Daniel, Ethan and Ryan Bouchard and one step-great-grandson, Tyler LeBlanc; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Omer and Oswald LeBlanc, and by one grandson, Paul Bouchard.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 19th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, June 19th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
