Donald A"Don" Theriault

Donald A. "Don" Theriault, Sr., 81, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Monday, October 12, 2015 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, surrounded by his family.
Don was born in Gardner on April 5, 1934, the son of the late Camille and Germaine (Laroche) Theriault. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1952.
Don was employed by the former Mass Electric Company of Gardner as a lineman for 36 years, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Don was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and biking. He was a lifetime member of the Otter River Sportsman's Club, the Royalston Fish and Game Club and the Winchendon Rod and Gun Club.
He leaves four sons, Michael J. Theriault of Baldwinville; Daniel P. Theriault and his wife Darlene of Baldwinville, Donald A. Theriault, Jr. and his wife April of Athol and Jeremy E. Theriault of Amherst; two daughters, Diane M. Hanks and her husband Chris of Gardner and Bethany H. Theriault and her significant other, Phillip of Athol; one brother, Raymond P. Theriault and his wife Evelyn of Phillipston; one sister, Rita Thibeault of Gardner; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his wife, Colleen (Sage) Theriault and his former wife, Ruth (Colson) Theriault of Baldwinville. Don was predeceased by his brother, Louis Theriault and brother-in-law, Louis Thibeault.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 16th at 10:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
