Diane M. Vautour, 45, of 28 Sunrise Drive, Gardner, died Thursday, May 12th in the Worcester Skilled Care Center, Worcester, following complications of gastric bypass surgery.
Born in Gardner on September 14, 1959, she was the daughter of Arthur J. Vautour and the late Ernestine M. (Daigle) Vautour.
Diane was a cashier employed by Wal-Mart of Rindge, NH for 10 years until retiring in 2004.
She was a 1977 graduate of Gardner High School and received an Associates degree in Business from Mount Wachusett Community College in 1990.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Diane enjoyed her bunny "Daisy".
Besides her father of Gardner she leaves 3 brothers, Paul J. Vautour and his companion Tricia A. Hansen of Westminster, Normand J. Vautour and wife Kathleen of Gardner, Claude J. Vautour and wife JoAnne of Gardner; 1 beloved niece Katie Vautour, 2 beloved nephews Ross and Travis Vautour all of Gardner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, May 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary School, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440 or to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606.
