Diane (Tourigny) Brideau, 74, of Gardner, died peacefully, Friday, March 27, 2020, in her residence, after an illness.
Born in Gardner on March 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Herve and Florence (Dubuc) Tourigny. She was a graduate of Gardner High School with the Class of 1964, and later attended Henry’s School of Hair Design in Fitchburg in 1966. She was a self-employed hairdresser until recently.
Diane was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner and was a leader of Holy Rosary’s CYC. She was a former member of Jaycee’s. She enjoyed spending time at her camp—her happy place. But the time she loved and cherished the most was time spent with her family.

Brideau of Gardner; two daughters, Wendy Poudrette and her husband Dino of Ashburnham, and Angela Ikonen and her husband Rich of Gardner; three grandchildren, Shane Langelier, Jocelyn Poudrette, and Kelsey Ikonen; two brothers Clement Tourigny and his wife Evelyn of Gardner, and Claude Tourigny and his wife Rose-Marie of Estero, FL; an aunt, Helen Dubuc of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
