Diana "Di" (Heisson) Cormier, 56, of 220 Cross Street, Gardner died suddenly on Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner after being stricken ill at home.
Born in Gardner on October 29, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothea (Richardson) Heisson.
Diana attended Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School of Fitchburg, and in 1986 received her Associates Degree in Psychology from Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
She was a talented artist and loved to draw. Her cats, Scrap, Stanley and Pebbles were her cherished companions.
She leaves one son, Jaime J. Cormier and his significant other Melissa Towle of Gardner; one daughter, Keyla R. Mullen and her husband John of Concord, NH; one step-daughter, Darcie Johnson and her husband Ryan of St. Cloud, FL; one brother, Jeffrey R. Heisson of Westminster; one sister, Sharon L. Radigan and her husband Glen of Templeton; five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Ayva and Grace Mullen, Kelsey Bixby Cormier and Olivia Detra Towle; one uncle, Benjamin Richardson of Gardner; one niece, Robin Holm; one nephew, Nathan Harmon; three great-nieces, Samantha, Morgan and Devyn Ewing; three great-nephews, Ryder Ewing, Zachary and Jacob Harmon; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Friday, December 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
