Dennis R. Erickson, 56, of 424 Clark St., Gardner died Saturday, April 3rd in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on September 22, 1947, he was the son of Olaf O. and Theresa M. (Charbonneau) Erickson.
At the time of his death he was a shipping supervisor at Gardner Screw Corp. of Gardner where he has worked for the past 37 years. With his wife he co-owned and operated All World Travel Co. of Gardner for the past 10 years.
He was a 1965 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Mr. Erickson was an avid sportsman.
He was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War Veteran.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Susan A. (Breslin) Erickson of Gardner; 1 son, Michael J. Erickson and 1 daughter, Laurie B. Erickson both of Winchendon; his mother-in-law, Winfried (Barrett) Breslin of Normanton, England; 1 grandson, Jacob Harmon of Winchendon; 2 aunts, 1 uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.

Following cremation, burial will be in Greenbower Cemetery, Gardner.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

The Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner is in charge of arrangements.
