Deborah Meunier

Deborah (Ganson) Meunier, 68, of Templeton, died peacefully, Sunday, September 20, 2020, in UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, surrounded by her family.

Born in Athol on November 26, 1951, she was the daughter of the late David and Ann (May) Ganson. She graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School with the Class of 1970 and later attended classes at Mount Wachusett Community College. Debbie was a CNA employed by the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association of Gardner for several years until she retired due to an illness in 2000.

Debbie was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner. She enjoyed making arts and crafts. She had a passion and a gift for creating and designing wedding cakes. But the time that Debbie loved and truly cherished the most was spent with her family.

Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Amy Meunier and her fiancé Chris Lafrennie of Templeton and Holly Pasquale and her husband Chris of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Aaron LeBlanc, Desiree Filz, and Emily Pasquale; three sisters, Abbe Sargent and her fiancé Larry of Cape Coral, FL, Heather Ganson-Cogswell and her husband Bob of Barre, and Monique Ackey and her husband Terry of Athol; four brothers, Gordon Ganson and his wife Linda of Petersham, Charlie DeCourcey and his wife Andrea of Georgia, and Alan Chicoine and his fiancé Chamile of Phillipston and Leo Chicoine and his wife Kate of Athol; a sister-in-law, Sandy Boutall; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45-years Kenneth Meunier, who died in 2017, a sister Barbara Stowell; and a brother Bruce Boutall.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 25, 2020, with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be private.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, current restrictions set in place by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be in effect at Debbie’s services.
