David G. Goscila

David G. Goscila, 49, of 114 New Westminster Road, Hubbardston, died peacefully Thursday, January 31, 2013 in his residence surrounded by family following a long illness with cancer.
David was born in Lowell, MA on March 29, 1963, the son of the late Frederick and Ethel (Feehan) Goscila.
He graduated from Lowell High School, Lowell with the Class of 1981.
Prior to retiring recently due to illness, David was employed by Verizon as a manager for 25 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner.
David enjoyed reading, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. His passion was playing golf, and his family would like to thank his golf buddies for all the time spent golfing with David, which brought him tremendous joy.
David leaves his wife of 26 years, Gail R. (McAneney) Goscila of Hubbardston; one son, Jeremy D. Goscila of Hubbardston; one daughter, Jennifer M. Ferrebee and her husband Troy of Fitchburg; three brothers, Kenneth Goscila and his wife Marianne of Dracut, Kevin Goscila of Cape Cod and John Goscila and his wife Christine of Lowell; two sisters, Nancy Mullen and her husband Steve of Tyngsboro and Joanne Nutter of Tyngsboro; two grandchildren, Serenity and David Ferrebee; two aunts, Jean Feehan of Nashua, NH and Josie Feehan of Lowell; two uncles, Alton Feehan of Nashua and Hubert Feehan of New York City, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 4th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Sunday, February 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
