Darlene M. Croteau, 53, of 125 S. Main Street, E. Templeton, died peacefully Tuesday, March 10th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, following a brief illness.
Darlene was born in Gardner on December 3, 1955, the daughter of he late George and Cecilia (Mei) Croteau.
She graduated from Narragansett Regional High School, Templeton with the Class of 1973.
Darlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and doing crossword puzzles She was an avid Harry Potter fan, reading books from the series. Darlene enjoyed watching television, especially her favorite show "Are You Being Served." Darlene also enjoyed watching the trilogy movies of "Lord of the Rings".
She leaves two brothers, Joseph N. Croteau and his dear friend Theresa Moyer of E. Templeton, and James P. Croteau of E. Templeton; four sisters, Georgette J. Croteau of E. Templeton, Susan J. Bernard of Winchendon, Kathy M. Coppock and her husband Alan of Marietta, Ohio and Cynthia J. Croteau of E. Templeton; one aunt, Rachel Tresback and her husband Larry of Gardner; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Darlene was predeceased by one brother, John P. Croteau and by one sister, Phyllis A. Croteau.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 20tth at 3:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton, at a later date.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Friday, March 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
