Danny J. Richard, 50, of Gardner died Monday, May 1, 2016 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a long illness.
He was born in Gardner on May 31, 1965, the son of Florine (Richard) Richard and the late Gaston Richard.
Danny graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1983, and attended RISE Institute of Technology in Nashua, NH.
He was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner as an Engineer.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Danny loved fishing and was an avid fan of all New England sports teams.
Besides his mother, Florine (Richard) Richard of Gardner; he leaves one brother, Gary J. Richard of Gardner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 9th with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
