Danny L. Harris

Danny L. Harris, 69, of 468 South Road, Templeton died peacefully Friday, June 22, 2012 in his residence, following a long illness.
Danny was born in Lyndonville, VT on December 14, 1942 the son of the late Derby and Shirley (Lee) Harris.
He graduated from Templeton High School with the Class of 1957.
Prior to retiring in 1998, Danny was an Electrician employed by Massachusetts Correctional Institute in Shirley. He was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Templeton.
Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in his cabin in Harmony, Maine.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Margaret J. (Sawyer) Harris of Templeton; two sons, Shawn D. Harris and Dwayne J. Harris both of Templeton; one daughter, Brenda D. Bishop and her husband Glenn of Phillipston; 3 brothers, Phillip Harris and his wife Lucille of Templeton, Forrest White and his wife Bertha of Miami and Paul White and his wife Gloria of Chatham, MA; two sisters, Jean Minchenberg of Templeton and Bonnie Spofford and her husband Kenneth of Templeton; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Danielle, Theresa, Brittany and Stacey Bishop, Chelsea and Melissa Harris; six great-grandchildren, Landen, Lillian, Carter and Carley Harding and Brinnley and Aubrey Harris. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary-Anne Hache and Pauline White.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
