Daniel J. "Dan" LeBlanc, 51, of 244 Chestnut Street, Athol died unexpectedly Thursday, October 9, 2014 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.
Born in Gardner on March 20, 1963, he was the son of the late Larry and Lorretta (Young) LeBlanc.
Daniel was a cook, most recently employed by the former Ill Italiano's Restaurant of Winchendon.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aeries 747 of Gardner, Deep Sea Club of Gardner and St. Joseph's Club of Fitchburg. He was a former member of the National Guard.
He enjoyed playing pool and cooking.
Daniel leaves his wife of two years, AnnMarie (Cormier) Leblanc of Athol; one son, Adam Kinosian and his wife Heather of Gardner; seven daughters, Valarie Whitney of Athol, Nicole St. Pierre and her husband Shawn of Winchendon, Lisa LeBlanc of Gardner, Lily LeBlanc of Winchendon, Kayla Murphy of Athol, Kristen Murphy of Athol and Nichole Gaudet of Athol; one brother, Larry L. LeBlanc and his wife Jennifer of Gardner; two sisters, Cathy Newton and her husband Michael of Toney, Alabama and Donna LeBlanc of Winchendon; six grandchildren, Jameson Cameron, Alexia Whitney, Angelina Whitney, Colby St. Pierre, Abigail St. Pierre and Adrianna Kinosian; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 18th at 3:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg at a later date.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 18th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
