Daniel Roger Caissie, 63, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a long illness.
Born in Rogersville, N.B. Canada on December 3, 1954, he was the son of the late Paul and Aline (Gallant) Caissie.
Daniel was a handyman and a 'jack of all trades'. He was also a mason and did brick laying for Brooks Brothers Masonry of Gardner.
He attended Gardner High School, and was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Daniel loved sports and enjoyed baseball, softball, hockey, bowling and diving.
He leaves two sons, Daniel P. Caissie of Gardner, and Christopher P. Caissie of Gardner; three sisters, Huguette Treshinsky and her husband David of Ashburham, Jacqueline Erickson of Gardner and Monique M. Pratt and her husband Robin of Gardner; his former wife, Louise (Brassard) Caissie of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Gilles Caissie who died in 1999.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
