Daniel F. "Cocoa" Arsenault, 53, of 77 Emerald St., Gardner, died unexpectedly Saturday in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Born in Gardner on January 18, 1951, he was the son of Francis Arsenault.
He was a disabled American Veteran and for several years, was a deliveryman for Parker House of Pizza, Gardner.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He received his GED at Mount Wachusett Community College.
Mr. Arsenault was a member of Montachusett Veterans' Outreach Center, Inc. of Gardner and Bedford.
He enjoyed making fudge, berry picking, fishing and camping. He was a collector of a variety of memorabilia.
He was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran.
He leaves his wife of 31 years, Gilda Ann (Thompson) Arsenault; his mother, Lorraine (Gallant) Arsenault; 3 sons, Carey F. Arsenault, Jeremy J. Arsenault, all of Gardner and Jamie K. Arsenault of Orange; 1 daughter, Nicole M. Arsenault of Fitchburg; 4 brothers, Thomas, Donald, Michael and Timothy Arsenault, all of Gardner; 6 sisters, Patricia Paradise, Karen Thompson, Tina Salame, all of Templeton, Gail Miller of Phillipston, Joanne Theriault and Tammy Arsenault both of Gardner; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Marie Arsenault, Caitlyn Nicole Arsenault, Brendon Kenneth Arsenault all of Orange and Danielle Ann Erskine of Fitchburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
