Constance E."Connie" Jalbert

Constance E. "Connie" (Lavertue) Jalbert, 73, of 167 Snake Pond Road, Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, October 25, 2012 in her residence surrounded by family following a long illness.
Born in St. Agatha, Maine on April 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Adrien and Bernadette (Coriveau) Lavertue.
Constance graduated from Madawaska High School, Madawaska, Maine with the class of 1956.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker, working briefly for Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Constance was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. She was also a member of the Beagle Club and the Deep Sea Club, both of Gardner.
Constance loved playing Bingo.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Leonard L. Jalbert of Gardner; one son, John Jalbert of Gardner; one daughter, Lise B. Johnson and her husband Ronald of Orange; one brother, Alan Lavertue and his wife Barbara of Portland, TN; three sisters, Jeannine Lavertue and her husband Joel of Brooklyn, CT, Cecile Bouchard of Gardner and Giselle Wilson and her husband Vern of Gardner; three grandchildren, Matthew Robinson and his wife Heather, Andrew Robinson and his wife Shannon and Dakota Jalbert; five great-grandchildren, Seth Robinson, Ethan Robinson, Deven Robinson, Alyssa Robinson and Andrew Robinson, Jr.; one aunt, Marie Poissonier of Biddeford, Maine; one uncle, Paul Coriveau of Plainville, CT; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Lionel Lavertue.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 31st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
Constance's family would like to thank the GVNA for their compassionate, caring services.
