Claudette Jacques

Claudette Jacques, beloved mother, grandmothers, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully at her home in Gardner, Massachusetts on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on December 19, 1940, in Grande-Riviére du Nord, Haiti, to Protege F. Jasmin and Florvil Jacques. Claudette was the seventh of nine children.

Claudette was a devout in her faith finding tranquility in reading the Bible and singing Christian music. She loved to work on search-a-word puzzles and listen to music. Claudette’s greatest joy was found when she was with her family, sharing memories, especially looking through old family photos. She cherished the memories made throughout the years.

Claudette is survived by her two sons, Maxen Sinous and his spouse Dolores Descombes- Sinous, Kenel Sinous; her daughter, Genevieve Jean; her brother, Burnet Jacques and others; grandchildren, Sade, Joshua, Jaimie, and Adaiah Sinous, Leah Myrthil, Adil Descombes; nieces and nephews, Dr. Serge F. Lamour, Maryse Valcourt Lamour, Fritz F. Lamour, Emmanuella Lamour and others, Dr. Lukette N. Lamour and others, Dr. Guerlin Mompoint- Jeune, Dr. Rearden Lamour and others, Lucienne Lamour and others, Hodna Lamour Myrtil and others, Honore and others, Dr. Gibbs and Evelynne Principal and others, Edrice Toussiant and others.

Her memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, family and hard work will continue to inspire generations to come.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Gethsemane Haitian Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 583 Main Street, Leominster, MA. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA
