Claudette M. Babineau, 75, of Templeton, died peacefully Monday, April 15, 2024, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus, Worcester, after a period of declining health.
Born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, on May 4, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Alcide J. and Alida M. (Cormier) Babineau. Claudette was an electronics assembler employed by Express Test of Orange for several years before her retirement in 2008. She was previously employed by Tyco for 17 years repairing computers.
Claudette was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, where she practiced at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed working on crafts, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, and playing computer games. Claudette loved to cook for her family and friends, treasuring those special memories together.
Claudette is survived by an uncle, Alderic Cormier; several cousins; and her dear friend Claudette Borey.
She was predeceased by her brother, Richard J. Babineau.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
There are no calling hours.
