Clark Sears, 76, of 116 Church Street, Gardner, and formerly of Pepperell, died Sunday, August 30th in UMass Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North.
Born October 18, 1934 in Woods Harbor, Canada, he was the son of the late Alfreda Connely.
Clark was a volunteer at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. He was previously employed by GAAMHA of Gardner as a janitor.
Clark was a member of the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, Gardner. He was also a member of the Gardner Lions Club.
Clark enjoyed walking, and spending time "chatting" with people. He ran for Public Office in Gardner several times. He also ran for Mayor of Fitchburg, garnering 900 votes. Clark was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He leaves two cousins, Leslie Smith and Carolyn MacAdams; and two dear friends Donna and June.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, 634 Pearl Street, Gardner.
