Claire Helen (Boucher) Gallant, 87, of 10259 Avonleigh Drive, Bonita Springs, Florida and formerly of 50 Crawford St., Gardner, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 23rd in Naples Community Hospital, North Campus, Naples, Florida.
Born in Gardner on July 6, 1923, she was the daughter of Pierre and Christine (Jaillet) Boucher.
She was a factory worker employed by Bercon Plastics of Gardner for several years.
Mrs. Gallant was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
She was a loving, devoted mother whose greatest joy was to spend time with her family. Helen enjoyed playing cards, watching televion game shows and playing the 'penny machines' at the casinos.
Her husband of 39 years, Alyre J. Gallant, died in 1984.
She leaves a daughter, Christine A. LeBlanc and her husband Stephen of Bonita Springs, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Danisienka, 5 brothers, Roger, Adelard, Alfred, Ernest, Albert Boucher and 4 sisters, Anna Cormier, Alma LeBlanc, Ida Boucher and Medora Kelley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, January 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
