Charles K. Westling

Charles "Charlie" K. Westling, 59, of 16 Reservoir Street, Baldwinville, died suddenly Monday, January 22nd in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born in Worcester on February 4, 1947, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy (Krubbfeldt) Westling.

Charlie was a self-employed truck driver, driving for Roy Brothers of Billerica, at the time of his death.

He graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester, with the class of 1965.

Charlie was a radioman for 6 years in the United States Navy.

He was a member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church, Worcester. He was a member of the Acadien Social Club, Deep Sea Club, Otter River Sportsmans Club, Templeton Fish and Game Club. He was a social member of the Knights of Columbus and was once a volunteer member of the Millbury Fire Department.

Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed motorcycles. Charlie will be remembered for always wanting to make other people happy.

He leaves his wife of 13 years, Cynthia (Graves) Westling of Baldwinville; his mother Dorothy (Krubbfeldt) Westling of Worcester; three sons, Charles "Chas" K. Westling, Jr. and his wife Audrey, Kenneth F. Westling all of Worcester, and Frank M. Westling and his fiancé Rosita Bigwood of Millbury; one daughter, Charlene M. Cox and her husband James of Bellingham; 2 step-sons, Peter E. Knowlton and his significant other Tiffany Courtemanche and John H. Knowlton all of Winchendon; one sister, Susan D. Breeds of Worcester; 15 grandchildren, 1 aunt, 4 nieces and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. in Quinsigamond United Methodist Church, 9 Stebbins Street, Worcester. Pastor Avis Hoyt-O'Connor will officiate.

Calling hours will be held Friday, January 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
