Celeste M Ouellet

August 24, 1921 — March 31, 2010

Celeste M. (Robichaud) Ouellet, 88, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, formerly of 194 Parker Street, Gardner died peacefully March 31st in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, surrounded by her family.

Born in N.B. Canada on August 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Fidele J. and Susanne (Gray) Robichaud.

Prior to retiring in 1983, Celeste was a stitcher employed by Chair City Upholstery of Gardner for 15 years. She was previously employed by L.Z. Kamman Company of Gardner.

Celeste was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.

Her hobbies included bird watching and flower gardening. She enjoyed French music and loved to dance, especially the jig. Celeste most enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her former husband, Arthur J. Ouellet who died in 1997.

Celeste leaves four sons, Paul J. Ouellet, George J. Ouellet and his wife Bernice, Francis J. Ouellet, France J. Ouellet and his wife Ann Marie all of Gardner; three daughters, Rosella M. Laprise and her husband Steve of Templeton, Georgette M. McCaie and her companion Raymond Dembek of Gardner and Paulette M. Boudreau and her husband Elie of Gardner; two sisters, Aline Steeve of Moncton, N.B. Canada and Marie Louise Maillet of St. Louis de Kent; ten grandchildren, Michael Ouellet, Timmy McCaie, Tammy McCaie, Daniel McCaie, Jaysen Laprise, Rachel Ouellet-Catlow, Angela Ouellet, Nicole Blais, Jesse Boudreau and Autumn Ouellet; three great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Rev. Adelard Robichaud and Joseph Robichaud and by four sisters, Imelda Babin, Alma Thibeau, Marie Daigle and Lucie Breau.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 6th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, April 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
