Catharine L."Cathy" Girouard

Catharine L. "Cathy" (Cline) Girouard, 70, of 113 Ash Street, Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, September 8th in the Golden Living Center, Fitchburg, following a brief courageous battle with cancer.
Cathy was born in Boston on February 14, 1940, the daughter of the late Francis and Madeline (Nazro) Cline.
She graduated from Framingham High School with the Class of 1958.
Cathy was an assembler employed by Worcester Chrome Co. for several years, retiring in 2002.
She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed traveling to the ocean in Maine, watching television- especially NCIS, and she was an immaculate housekeeper. Cathy most enjoyed time spent with family.
She leaves her husband of 10 years, Timothy G. Girouard of Gardner; two sons, Jeffrey F. Maynard and his wife Rhonda of Shrewsbury, MA and Scott R. Maynard and his wife Robin of Millville, MA; one stepson, Mark Girouard and his wife Allyson of Gardner; three stepdaughters, Marcia Corbett and her husband Brian of Salem, NH, Monica Whitehouse and her husband Mark of Gardner and Marie Dobbs and her husband Richard of Gardner; seven grandchildren, Timothy Maynard, Ashley Maynard, Cody Maynard, Kelsey Maynard, Tori Maynard, Logan Maynard and Hayden Maynard; ten step-grandchildren, Shawna Whitehouse, Michael Whitehouse, Shamus Corbett, Leah Corbett, Ryan Corbett, Kevin Dobbs, Laura Dobbs, Heather Dobbs, Cameron Girouard and Connor Girouard; one great-grandson, Travis Russell. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Landry.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Boylston Street, Shrewsbury, MA
