Carol M. O'Rourke

Carol M. (Godin) O'Rourke, 53, of 59 C Hyde Park Drive, Winchendon died peacefully Monday, October 4th in her residence.
She was born in Fitchburg on December 25, 1956, the daughter of Joseph E. and Rachel C. (Melanson) Godin.
Carol graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1974.
Prior to recently retiring, she was employed by Monadnock Bank in Winchendon as Head of the Maintenance Department.
Carol was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Gardner.
Her hobbies included puzzles, photography and traveling to Salisbury Beach. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
Carol leaves her mother, Rachel C. (Melanson) Godin of Gardner; one daughter, Nicole L. Hart and her husband Bobby of Gardner; one brother, Kevin Godin of Naples, FL; two sisters, Marie A. Lajoie and her husband Gerry of Royalston and Kelly A. Blanchette and her husband James of Gardner; two grandchildren, Peyton F. Hart and Kamryn N. Hart; one aunt, Lorraine Manca of Garder; three uncles, Arthur Melanson of Gardner, Raymond Melanson of Gardner and Robert Melanson of Florida; two nieces, Jody Lajoie, Jenna Pereria; and four nephews, Kyle Blanchette, Joseph Godin, Joshua Foresman and Jacob Foresman.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 12th at 7:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Pastor Brown of the First Baptist Church in Westminster will officiate. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Tuesday, October 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
