Camille J. "Mike" Bergeron, 91, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, October 10, 2016 in his residence, surrounded by family, following a long illness.
Born in Putnam, CT on April 8, 1925, he was the son of the late Ubald and Uville (De'Grandpre) Bergeron.
Camille was a foreman employed by Collier-Keyworth Company of Gardner for 42 years, retiring in 1987.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 396 of Gardner, MA.
Camille enjoyed boating, cross-country skiing and hockey. He held a private pilot's license and flew both the Cessna Skyhawk and the Cessna 150 aircrafts.
Camille leaves his wife of 65 years, Alfreda M. (Richard) Bergeron of Gardner; one daughter, Karen A. Bergeron of Templeton; one sister, Cecile De'Grandpre of Melartic, Quebec, Canada; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 17th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Monday, October 17th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
