Calvin Jon Neely, one month old infant son of Matthew R. and Heidi (Kowalski) Neely of Fitchburg, died peacefully Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Boston Children's Hospital.
He was born in Gardner on November 3, 2015.
Besides his parents, Calvin leaves one brother, Lincoln R. Neely of Fitchburg; paternal grandparents, George and Connie (Leger) Pelletier of Templeton and Ray and Laurie (Alexander) Neely of Orange; maternal grandparents, John and Barbara (Foley) Kowalski of Gardner; paternal great-grandmother, Gabrielle (Forget) Leger of Fitchburg; paternal great-grandmother, Bertha (Saulnier) Heitela of Gardner; two aunts, Samantha Kowalski of Fitchburg and Elena Kowalski of Gardner; two uncles, Michael P. Neely of Athol and Keanon J. Kowalski of Gardner.
Graveside Services in New Cemetery of Ashburnham will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, Calvin's parents would like memorial contributions to be sent to the Children's Fund at Boston Children's Hospital. Contributions can be made online at www.bostonchildrens.org/givenow or checks made payable to Boston Children's Hospital can be mailed to Boston Children's Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215-5301 or to Heywood Hospital, LaChance Maternity Center, 242 Green Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
