Bruce K. Flaxington, 56, of Ashburnham, died peacefully Monday, May 24, 2021, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a long illness.
Born in Boston on March 24, 1965, he was the son of Janet F. (Carrier) Flaxington and the late Kenneth E. Flaxington. He graduated from West Roxbury High School with the Class of 1983. Bruce was a laborer employed by several construction companies throughout the years.
Bruce enjoyed doing housework and cooking—especially Thanksgiving dinner, which was his favorite holiday. He also loved play baseball and golf and loved to watch his New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. But the time that Bruce loved and cherished the most was spent with his family.
Besides his mother Janet F. (Carrier) Flaxington, Bruce is survived by his wife of 36-years, Lisa A. (Wirrell) Flaxington of Ashburnham; a son, Timothy Flaxington and his wife Jessica of Texas; two daughters, Jessica Flaxington and her fiancé Mark Charbonneau of Worcester and Ashley Flaxington and her fiancé Brian Brasili of Ashburnham; five grandchildren, Jaydon Cormier, Kenzie Flaxington, Cameron May, Gianna Brasili and Charlotte Charbonneau; three sisters, Barbara Allen and her husband Roger of Mendon, Karen Duby Flaxington of Wrentham and Kim Boschen and her husband Abe of Attleboro; a close niece, Lisa Joyce of Marshfield; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
