Brian J. Egan

Brian J. Egan, 37, of 166 East 92nd Street, New York, NY, formerly of Westminster, MA died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, September 4, 2011 while vacationing in Freiburg, Germany.
Brian was born in Fitchburg on October 23, 1973, the son of John Joseph Egan and Kathleen Anne (Main) Egan. He graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham with the Class of 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brown University, Providence, RI in 1996 and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University, Manhattan, NY in 2002.
At the time of his death, Brian was the Director of Business Development for Grant Associates in New York.
Besides his parents of Westminster; he leaves his beloved partner, Eric Hunt of New York, NY; his sister, Lauren Gaudet of Gardner; his niece, Emily Gaudet; aunts, Judith Giuliano of Ambler, PA, Marcia Erickson of Austin, TX and Patricia Egan Hows of Moss Beach, CA; cousins, Paul, Greg, and Doug Giuliano, and William and David Erickson.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held Friday, September 30th at Wachusett Mountain Ski Resort, 499 Mountain Road, Princeton, MA. The program will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 or to the Upper Housatonic National Heritage Area, PO Box 493, Salisbury, CT 06068.
Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner assisted the family with the arrangements.
