Brenda Ann Dion

Brenda Ann (Theriault) Dion, 71, of Charlton, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, May 9, 2023,
in her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer which she had beaten for over five years.

Born in Mexico, Maine on April 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Mary Helen (Gaudet) Theriault. She graduated Narragansett Regional High School with the Class of 1970. Brenda worked as a Receiver, employed by International Rectifier of Leominster for many years until her retirement. She was previously employed by Plexus and Shaker Workshop.

Brenda cherished everything about life, living it to the fullest. Her kindness was unparalleled, to know Brenda was to love her. She had a deep love for animals and adored many pets throughout the years. She loved Elvis, Hawaii, and most of all, she loved to make people smile. Brenda’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons, and she deeply treasured all the special moments they had together.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Holly Claypool and her husband Brian of Charlton, and Jennifer Rasch of Winchendon; six grandsons, Camden Conti, Shane Conti, and Hunter Claypool, and Joshua, Kyle, and Nathan Rasch; a great-granddaughter, Gracelyn; a sister, Melissa Theriault and her significant other Kevin Cormier of Phillipston; a brother, Dennis Theriault and his wife Kathi of Ashburnham; a brother-in-law, R. Leo Zutautas of Arlington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Zutautas.

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110
Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Baldwinville, MA, will be held at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, 111 Young Road, East Brookfield, MA 01515, where she volunteered for several months. Please reference in memory of Brenda Dion.
