Binh Duong, 74, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a brief illness.
Born in Hà Nam Ninh, Vietnam, on May 25, 1949, he was the son of the late Buoi Thi Dào and Phan Uan Duong. He graduated from high school in Vietnam. He began his career as a mechanic at a motorcycle shop in Vietnam and then working at Mike's Auto in Gardner until his retirement.
Binh was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He was “Mr. Fix-It” to family and friends, always doing something mechanical around the house or fixing cars. Along with his wife Xuyen, Binh loved being a foster parent to many individuals since 1998. Above all, his greatest joy was his family treasuring all the special moments together.
Binh is survived by his wife, Xuyen T. Nguyen of Gardner; three sons, Minh Duong and his wife Yen Le of Worcester, Anh Duong and his wife NiNie Tran of California, and Kiet Duong and his wife Van Truong of Washington; a daughter, Thy Duong of Gardner; four grandchildren, William, Louis, Max, and Mason Duong; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
