Beverly A. "Bev" (Diemdowicz) Bowler, 74, died peacefully, Monday, January 23, 2012 in Keystone Center, Leominster, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on July 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Lajoie) Diemdowicz.
Beverly was employed in the office of Aubuchon Hardware in Westminster for many years, retiring in 1978. She was previously employed by L.Z. Kammen Company of Gardner.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1955.
Beverly was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner.
She enjoyed watching television, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Beverly leaves one son, Michael P. Bowler and his wife Brae of Westminster; one daughter, Christine A. Birt of Goffstown, NH; three brothers, Donald Diemdowicz and his wife Nancy of Holden, Joseph Diemdowicz of Athol and Dean L. Diemdowicz of Phillipston; one sister, Carol Hughes of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Devin and Laura Bowler; six nieces, Kim LeBlanc of Leominster, Sue Conley of Gardner, Debbie Diemdowicz of N. Leominster, Ashley Charron of Royalston, Tracey Diemdowicz of Templeton and Holly Macauley of Leominster; one nephew, Brian Diemdowicz of San Ramon, CA; and several cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary A. Bowler.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 1:30 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
