Beverly J. (Parvin) Bennett, 87, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, March 29, 2021, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in Independence, Missouri, on February 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Taylor) Parvin.
Beverly loved living at Heywood Wakefield Commons for the past three years and enjoyed making friends and participating in many activities. She was a social butterfly and loved being active. She was fond of playing Wii Bowling and BINGO. She was known for her peanut butter fudge and enjoyed making it for family and friends. Beverly was a homemaker who loved and cherished time spent with her family.
Beverly is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Meany and her husband William of Gardner, Linda Lancaster and her husband Michael of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Susan Washington and her husband Ernest of Disputanta, VA; two sons, Jeffrey Bennett of Templeton, and David Bennett and his wife Tammy of Hubbardston; six grandchildren, Angela Boudreau, Derek Gaidanowicz, Lisa and Brad Lancaster, Tyrae Washington and Kyle Bennett; six great-grandchildren, Alex Wirth, Emily DiPrima, Hunter and Maxwell Gaidanowicz, Kennadi and Cooper Lancaster; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick L. Bennett; two sisters, Ruth Roper and Irene Cooper; and five brothers, Carl, Leo, James, Howard and Wayne Parvin.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at New Cemetery, 121 Main Street, Ashburnham, MA.
