Betsy L. (Lang) Harding, 60, of 47 Limerick St., Gardner, died unexpectedly Friday, December 2nd, in her residence.
Born in Holden on March 16, 1945, she was the daughter of Reginald Conant and Elizabeth Eugenia (Adams) Lang Sr.
She was a Direct Care Nurse employed by Community Health Link of Worcester. She was previously employed by Westside House of Worcester and Gardner Manor Nursing Home, Gardner.
She was a 1963 graduate of Barre High School, 1974 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational High School with an L.P.N. degree and received her Register Nurse degree from Mount Wachusett Community College in 1978.
Betsy was a member of Chestnut Street Methodist Church, former president of the Gardner Quota Club and was a member of the Human Rights Committee at the Templeton Developmental Center.
She enjoyed reading, arts & crafts, traveling, knitting, dollhouses and taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She leaves 1 son, Ronald L. Harding Jr. and fiancee Joan Hotchkiss, a daughter Bethany A. Harding all of Gardner; 1 brother, Reginald Conant Lang III and wife Patty of Hardwick; 3 grandchildren, Andrew Cutting, Jenny Hotchkiss and Mariah Harding all of Gardner; 1 aunt, Ella Lang of North Haverhill, NH; 3 nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7th @ 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner,
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, December 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Burial in Fourth Cemetery, Barre, will be in the Spring.
